One of the Ten Best-Selling Hermes Carres of All Time

seton says: If I remember correctly, this carre is adapted from a bookplate (hence “Ex Libris”) designed by minor 19th Century French painter Alfred de Dreux (yes, the subject of the 1993 Hermes carre of the same name), a favorite of Emile Hermes. Emile Hermes was, of course, the head of Hermes at that time. In fact, it is his intials in the Hermes emblem at the center.

Would you happen to know if any of the earlier scarves of this design were printed without the accent grave over the second e in Hermes Paris?

    Thank you in advance.

Do you mind if I quote a couple of your articles as long as I provide credit
and sources back to your webpage? My blog is in the very same niche as yours and my users would genuinely
benefit from a lot of the information you provide here.

Please let me know if this okay with you. Many thanks!
